Mark Davies has more than 30 years experience working in communications and public affairs. He has advised Cabinet ministers, CEOs, Boards and third sector organisations in high pressure situations as well as steering communications strategies on subjects as wide ranging as mental health and asylum policy.
He started his career as a journalist, spending 14 years working for regional newspapers, the BBC and CNN. He then spent six years in Government working as a communications and policy adviser to Baroness Amos and Jack Straw in four government departments. Since 2010 he has been communications lead at Rethink Mental Illness, the Post Office, the World Wide Web Foundation and the Refugee Council. An accomplished writer, he has contributed to national and international media, while his book A Love Letter to Football was published in 2023.
