Margaret Pinder

Margaret practised international law in the City and on Wall Street before going on to teach at Harvard University. She has worked on major public sector construction projects where her clients included the Ministry of Justice and several London boroughs. As Head of Market Intelligence for a major international law firm, she was selected by the CBI for their Executive Leadership Programme. She is a writer, editor and communications expert with several books to her name. An experienced campaigner, she stood in Beverley and Holderness in July 24, reducing the Conservatives’ majority from over 20,000 to 124 votes.

She has written extensively on policy including on defence procurement for the Fabian Review and serves on Fabian Women’s Network Executive as well as sitting as vice-chair of Community Trade Union’s self-employed steering group.
